First of all, Clea was so easy to work with and I thank her for making the process easy! She was quick to respond to emails and calls, and she was always willing to answer my questions. Wedding Inspiration: Bindu & Dan

Dan and Bindu’s celebration at Fairmont Olympic Hotel embraced rich jewel tones, with violet lighting complementing the glamorous crystal decor and lavish, white florals.

For the ceremony, we kept the lighting mostly warm white with a spotlight for their ceremony and warm white uplights along the sides of the room, paired with violet uplights on their backdrop drape for a pop of color. When guests returned to the ballroom for dinner, all the uplights were set to violet for a dramatic statement, paired with warm white pinspotting on the dinner tables.

We used moving head spotlights to light their first dances, toasts and cake cutting, and then these same fixtures were part of their dance party, changing color on the dance floor. For open dancing, we introduced vibrant colors and special effect fog blasters to punctuate key moments for a lively dance party.

Wedding Inspiration: Mara & Danny

Mara and Danny created a glamorous and epic wedding celebration with customized lighting elements to showcase the different parts of their day.

Guests were greeted in the Spanish Foyer for cocktail hour with warm, candlelight colored uplighting paired with large, custom gobo monograms. We used video projection to showcase their photo slideshow, and at a key moment, their engagement video.

The reception was hosted in the Spanish Ballroom, decorated with glittering, dramatic chandelier silhouettes and purple accents in their floral, linen and uplighting colors. Our adjustable moving spotlights were used for soft spotlighting for first dances, then dramatic, choreographed spotlighting for their special performances, and finally as dance party lighting once open dancing started.

Their after-party in the Garden Room featured dynamic uplighting, a custom dance lighting package, and haze for aerial beam effects to create more of a “nightclub style” ambiance as a grand finale.

Event Inspiration: Influencer Dinner

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel’s 4th Annual Wedding Influencer Dinner was themed “Low Tide”, inspired by the natural elements of the Pacific Northwest from the coast to the shore to the forest.

With each course, we transitioned the lighting and video projection footage to complementary colors and imagery: for example, for a fish course we featured footage of the ocean, paired with uplights in shades of blues, while for a truffle dish we transitioned to footage of mushrooms paired with warmer amber color tones.

The 7 course meal took guests on a journey, both in taste and sight!

So fun! Stunning bride Mara and dashing groom Danny each prepared an awesome choreographed dance performance for their wedding celebration! Here’s a short highlight reel.
