GoDaddy had a vision for an “out of this world” holiday event. Fun!

We worked together to craft an immersive galactic atmosphere, using custom oversize video projection, color-matched uplighting, black-lights, and special lighting for performances.

Event Inspiration: Canlis, New Year’s Eve

Seattle’s beloved Canlis restaurant is renowned for elaborate, festive New Year’s Eve parties. We are delighted to partner in bringing them to life.

For 2019, modern artist Geronimo was invited to install a showcase of her work. The art, displayed both inside and outside the venue, required careful lighting to properly shine in this unusual setting.

Drawing inspiration from Geronimo’s whimsically colorful droplets, guests were asked to wear all white. Color, in dynamically changing hues, would be provided with hyper-saturated lighting from Crimson Haze.

Tables are pushed out of the way to make space for a dance floor. A full band, a DJ, glittering mirror balls and moving lights — the entire venue is temporarily transformed into a vibrant, exuberant nightclub to ring in the New Year.

Event Inspiration: Emerald City Applause Awards

ILEA’s annual Emerald City Applause Awards was hosted at the stunning Arctic Club, a perfect venue for a 1920s “Great Gatsby” theme. We offered ambiance lighting to complement the theme and bring the space to life, as well as functional AV services to support the awards show.

Our award-winning Dome Ceiling Deluxe Package allowed for festive on-theme color changes in the centerpiece ceiling, with fun animations during live performances and as winners were announced on stage.

Warm white spotlighting highlighted both the award show presenters and winners, as well as the dazzling performances. We also provided targeted pin-spotting for signage and specialty decor, and animating dynamic uplighting for the dance party. Dual, over-sized video projection screens, featured discreet rear-projection for an elegant installation. And our sleek line-array speakers flanked the stage for quality audio.

Event Inspiration: Amazon Alexa Holiday Party

Amazon Echo Services wanted to create an on-brand holiday party at Fremont Foundry, so we set the uplights and glass floor to complementary brand colors, animating between Amazon oranges and blues.

We featured two large-scale logo gobo projections, one on the outside of the building as a grand entrance and the other on the centerpiece Atrium wall. Illuminated cocktail rounds with spandex linens added a modern touch.

Event Inspiration: Corporate Party

This corporate party at The 101 Seattle was a creative concept, with guests entering a portion of the venue that had been draped off and set up to look like a classroom for a lecture.

The presenter at the podium began speaking and then interrupted himself: “This is ridiculous. Let’s have a party!” At that moment, the music started, we strobed the lights behind the curtain, and performers on stilts parted the drapes, blasting confetti and revealing a vibrant party space on the other side.

During the party, we played with the lighting to correspond with the music. We transitioned all lighting to warm white for the emcee to introduce the centerpiece performances. For each performance we provided flattering warm white spotlighting, and transitioned the uplights to give each act its own feel.

Event Inspiration: AI2 Holiday Party

The Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) invited us to transform Fremont Foundry into a winter wonderland.

We provided illuminated birch trees, wintery white string lights and swirling white snowflakes to help set the scene. Our wireless uplights were slowly transitioning through a gradient of blue, light blue and white, and subtly shimmering to add a sense of wintery winds and sparkle. We provided warm white spotlighting for key moments like the magician, CEO speeches and raffle giveaways.

Little accents like our golden lanterns and illuminated cocktail rounds added fun “pops of light” around the space.

At a key moment during your event, the Confetti Surprise Box (which is on small wheels) can be rolled out onto your dance floor or stage. Then, at the key moment, the Box is opened either by you or by Crimson Haze staff.
